Thirty-year old Sarah Michelle Gellar flexes her sexy bod as she graces Maxim's December issue which will be out in newsstands by November 20. This hot actress looks viciously sexy as she accentuate her high-waisted pants with lace bra, red suspenders and black fingerless gloves. For the meantime, her movie Southland Tales will be in theaters by November 14. Apart from the said movie, she got a lot of movies lined up for 2008 namely The Return, Happily N'ever After, TMNT, Suburban Girl and Possession.

She is a subject of envy for most women for her simultaneous success in career and married life. She made Buffy the Vampire Slayer a cult favorite aside from having a terrific marriage with heartthrob Freddie Prinze Jr. She established her identity as a sweet and innocent-looking girl who can kick butts. As how she conquers television, she conquers movies. She did teenage movies preferably thrillers like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream 2, the romantic comedy Simply Irresistible and Cruel Intentions which made a mark on her as an actress when she did a kissing scene with co-star Selma Blair.


Then she stared in Scooby-Doo movie franchise opposite real life partner Freddie as couple Fred Jones and Daphne Blake. She came back in horror-thriller genre via the remake of Asian horror flick The Grudge. Her performance was too good that she was signed to do the sequel The Grudge 2 reprising her role as Karen Davis. As of this date of writing, she still filming Alice and Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey all set for 2009.

    Can we really say that she has had a "great" career? I would say "OK". She had a lucky cult movie with Buffy and a role in Cruel Intentions, another cult movie, but not wide hit. The Grudge was fun, but also a remake and again a nitch hit at best.
    I think she has had an average career, but not a real breakout Oscar worthy one yet.
